Thank you for the session you gave me. I am still not smoking since February 22^nd 2008 it is now 11 July 2008. I am not even tempted. I found the first week quite hard, but that was the habit. I felt like I had lost something, or should be smoking after eating etc. After that first initial week I was fine and still going strong. I have tried to quite smoking before and never been successful, and after smoking for 15 years I didn’t think I would ever be able to quit.

I want you to know that the stopping smoking has been a complete success. I haven’t experienced any withdrawal symptoms whatsoever. I have felt both energetic and positive. This is in spite of T still smoking etc. Intriguingly, I can’t smell cigarettes smoke as strongly as before (it is almost neutralised to me!) although my overall sense of smell has got so much better. The best thing is that I have been able to have coffee at breakfast and the occasional glass of wine with no associated craving.

Cigarettes –not one has even been close to my lips, no real desire for one although I must admit that I enjoy the smell of second hand smoke!!

However, what is really amazing is that after you suggested I should try not taking my Seroxat tablets I have now gone a week without taking one. Really this is quite amazing because everything that is published about Seroxat and medical opinions are quite clear about the fact that coming off this medication is extremely difficult and one needs to be weaned off them over quite a long period. Could be it is early days for me on this one- I don’t know- but it’s working so far.

My daughter Diane is also off the cigs.

I tried bio-resonance therapy to quit smoking and it worked instantly! This was back in May 2006. I was recommended to try the therapy by a friend. Although this was not withVictoriathe process was much the same except there was no after therapy support. I instantly felt better having been a heavy smoker of up to 20 a day for ten years. I noticed my sense of smell and taste were better and I lost my smokers cough within a month.

Unfortunately within 6 months I started smoking as I was under a lot of pressure at work and assumed that smoking would ease the stress….it didn’t!

I found myself booking up the therapy again within one month of starting smoking. I was referred toVictoriaby Tim the previous therapist as he had then relocated toSpain.

I foundVictoriamuch better as to start she was able to visit my house at no additional charge. The therapy once again worked without cravings and I felt I was back on track and ready for a smoke free life…..about another 6 months later I was on holiday with four others who all smoked and in a moment of drunken stupidity I decided to smoke one evening. For the rest of the holiday I kidded myself thinking I would be able to quite again at the end of the holiday. I was wrong. I found myself smoking more and more each weekend while drunk and within 6 weeks I was back to at least 15 cigarettes a day.

This seemed to work and it has been four months now and I have no urges to smoke (just like the previous two times!) I had been a regular user of drugs since I was about 14 and had my first joint, over the years I had used and abused most substances culminating with a four year heroin addiction, I was prescribed Subutex but of course I was just using that to top up the heroin use.  I put my family through hell over the years and I don’t know why they didn’t just abandon me years ago.  Anyway, things came to a head and I decided to do something about it.  From the first phone call to Victoria I felt in safe hands, I just felt that she really cared and was interested in me and my pain, to her I was a real person not just a waste of space.  We decided to do the therapy away from home and booked a holiday cottage in the middle of nowhere, this was great as I left the pressures of home behind.   Well, what can I say, it was amazing, Vic stayed with me for hours, I slept most of the time for the first three days and although I had some withdrawal symptoms they were  much less than cold turkey and only lasted for a short time, she brought loads of things to help me be as comfortable as possible, like black out blinds, hot water bottles, this miracle cold bandages, that she would wrap around my legs at room temperature and then they would draw out all the heat and cool me down, a hundred times better than a bag of frozen peas, I can tell you.   Vitamins to alleviate sickness and diarrhoea, which really worked. She knew which foods and drinks to give me that would not make me cramp or sick and which would heal. All the time, she was committed to making me feel as comfortable as possible and I must say the bioresonance does take away the pain.  Almost immediately my appetite returned and I began to feel stronger and clearer, the withdrawal lasted such a short time and I felt better by the hour, by the time we parted after five days, I felt like a man, instead of a wreck, heroin seemed like a bad dream as if it was something I did long long ago, for the first time in years I was beginning to feel normal. I’d got into heroin though a guy I thought I loved, I ended up only loving the heroin.  My life got in a mess, I didn’t pay the mortgage or the bills, I was hanging onto my job by my fingernails, I had lost touch with all my old friends and life and I knew I had to do something about it.

I couldn’t afford rehab at eight grand a week, any more than I could have afforded to take the time off work, Id contacted the NHS to be told that someone would call me in 6 to 8 weeks, I thought I would be dead by then.  Id heard of Victoria, though a friend she had helped quit weed,  and gave her a call, even though I was a complicated case she agreed to help immediately, she organised a load of vitamins and stuff for me to be delivered the next day and came down on Friday after I finished work, she stayed with me throughout the weekend, hooking me up to her machine and detoxing me, I am so glad for her support and kindness though that time, even though I was a bit of a nightmare and probably not her best patient she never gave up on me and kept telling me I was doing so well and that she was proud of me.  Suddenly, it was like a light at the end of the tunnel, all of a sudden I just felt normal, I didn’t feel as if I was ill or clucking or anything, I just felt normal, ready to get up have a shower and face the day, the next day I went to work, feeling loads better and actually put in a good performance at work, I made some excuse about having had awful flu and now I was over it and somehow narrowly avoided being sacked.  Victoria stayed another two days and by the time she left, I felt like I was ready for anything. I called SuperDetox at lunchtime when my Son came home after a four day bender.  He was in such a bad state I thought he was going to die.  He was hot and sweaty, shaking, paranoid, aggressive, weepy, just in such a state.  He realised he had to stop and was begging me to find a solution.  When I spoke to Victoria I was so relieved that someone understood and cared.  She was with us by teatime, by which time he had got a lot worse.  I don’t know how that machine works but all I can tell you is that it does.  I couldn’t believe the difference in him within an hour, calmer, temperature normal, everything stablalised .  Victoria was around for three days with us and helped us so much to get over the addiction and to help us through the months ahead.

I’d got into heroin though a guy I thought I loved, I ended up only loving the heroin.  My life got in a mess, I didn’t pay the mortgage or the bills, I was hanging onto my job by my fingernails, I had lost touch with all my old friends and life and I knew I had to do something about it.

I couldn’t afford rehab at eight grand a week, any more than I could have afforded to take the time off work, Id contacted the NHS to be told that someone would call me in 6 to 8 weeks, I thought I would be dead by then.  Id heard of Victoria, though a friend she had helped quit weed,  and gave her a call, even though I was a complicated case she agreed to help immediately, she organised a load of vitamins and stuff for me to be delivered the next day and came down on Friday after I finished work, she stayed with me throughout the weekend, hooking me up to her machine and detoxing me, I am so glad for her support and kindness though that time, even though I was a bit of a nightmare and probably not her best patient she never gave up on me and kept telling me I was doing so well and that she was proud of me.  Suddenly, it was like a light at the end of the tunnel, all of a sudden I just felt normal, I didn’t feel as if I was ill or clucking or anything, I just felt normal, ready to get up have a shower and face the day, the next day I went to work, feeling loads better and actually put in a good performance at work, I made some excuse about having had awful flu and now I was over it and somehow narrowly avoided being sacked.  Victoria stayed another two days and by the time she left, I felt like I was ready for anything. I had a lot of catching up to do, I hadn’t eaten much for months and I was quite weak, but I did feel a little better each day.   Life is a lot better now, like Victoria says, ‘Everybody makes mistakes, its what we do next that is important’

Just thought Id send you an email to let you know that it is exactly a year since you got me off the evil drug that is cocaine !!!!! Can you believe it, a whole year, I’m doing well, things are so much better with my family and I am doing my best to make it up to them and rebuilding my life.  Work is still a pain in the ass, but I am hoping to make a change soon, at least I have got a job and I am clean.  

Anyway hope you have a good day and I know I have told you a million times before, but thanks for everything.

I had been prescribed Tramadol by my Doctor (Thanks a million Doc!) after surgery.   Of course the Doc never warned me of the dangers of it and after I came off it six weeks later I found I was experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms, these were exactly the same as heroin withdrawal only they never seemed to go away, they just got worse and worse as the weeks dragged on, I was determined not to go back to Tramadol but I was desperate for help.  Eventually, Victoria was recommended to me by another health professional and I am so glad I found her.  Within two days she was here with me and I am glad to report that after the first session, all the pain and withdrawal from Tramadol had gone and I was able to sleep well for the first time in a long time.  The detox lasted three days and it was well worth it, Victoria is very knowledgeable and very caring, it was great to be able to talk to someone who really understands.  I recommend Victoria at SuperDetox with all my heart. R.M.  Birmingham
